Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) Airport Operations Center (AOC) – Salt Lake City, UT

The Salt Lake International Airport has been ranked as the 25th busiest airport in North America and the 85th busiest in the world. The Salt Lake City Corporation, through its Department of Airports (SLCDA), has embarked on a capital improvement program commonly known as the Airport Redevelopment Program (previously referred as the Terminal Redevelopment Program), which currently is expected to span 10 years and cost approximately $3.1 billion.

The new Airport Operations Center (AOC) is one phase of the Airport Redevelopment Program. The project comprises of the repurposing of a former FedEx location which includes the renovation and expansion of the buildings into a single building for the AOC.

The AOC building is a one-story building of approximately 10,000 square feet. The building will provide a command center, closed office space, open office space, conference rooms, and building support spaces.

The AOC was a CMAR construction contract awarded to Big-D Construction.

Inspired Networks was contracted by Big-D Construction and IES Communications for the Delivery Management of the Communication Systems outlined below.
